Cookable by construction
Plenty of nutrition advice fails at the stove: “eat more leafy greens” isn't dinner. Vittelio closes that gap structurally — the app can only recommend a dish that has an authored recipe. It isn't a coverage promise that might slip; it's a rule built into the suggestion engine itself. If a dish appears on a card, the recipe is already there.
Built for actual cooking
- One step at a time. Each step fills the screen with just what you need now — the sub-steps, the ingredients for that step, and a tip where it helps.
- Real amounts. Ingredients come with practical measures (with metric alongside), and oven temperatures are given in Fahrenheit first.
- Honest numbers. Cook times come from the actual steps, and per-serving calories are estimates from USDA food data — labeled as estimates, not lab results.
Cooking for more than one
Tell Vittelio how many people usually share your meals and every recipe scales its amounts to match — while batch dishes like a pot of chili stay honest batch recipes with a declared yield, so the shopping list buys the right amount either way. Dishes you love can be favorited and stay with you even across plan changes.
Finishing a recipe logs the meal
When you cook a plan recipe to the end, the meal logs itself and your live score moves — cooking is the tracking. There is no separate logging chore afterwards.
